Born and raised in Virginia. Married to Steve Spear, a Vietnam Veteran, for 50 years. Mother of two and Grandmother to three smart, cute, and loving grandchildren. Public education in Alexandria, VA . Mimi went to Radford College with interest in History and Elementary Ed. In earlier years Mimi was a Pre-School teacher, Office Manager/ Bookkeeper for an Electric Company, and care giver to the Senior members of the family. Mimi became a real estate agent because she enjoys helping people find the new home they need. Sharing with them the wonderful things in the Northern Virginia area is the fun part. Either buying or selling a home can be a personal and emotional time for everyone. Mimi tries to make the transition easier for her clients.
Mimi continue to donate her time and funds to many charities. Collecting food and personal items for Western Fairfax County Ministry, and to the area Veteran Homes are on the top of the list. Through Final Salute, we collect clothes and personal items for our Women Vets. Starting a Sharing Library for Veterans and Senior residents at Crossing at Chantilly Senior Home, was a project she started for her D.A.R. Chapter. The teacher in Mimi is always looking for school items and back packs on sale to donate in the fall. Mentoring at a local elementary school had it's own rewards. Mimi now writes Children's Books. All are centered around the family Beagle and his adventures. These books have been donated to School and City Libraries, the USO at Dulles Airport, to Missions out of the USA, and the Senior Home where her Mother-in Law lived.
Mimi is a member of the Million Dollar Club and has earned the Century 21 Quality Service Award.. Mimi is a C21 Redwood Outreach Ambassador.
With every endeavor, Mimi is both professional and compassionate. Being understanding and respectful were values taught to her and her six siblings from an early age.
